Well, perhaps Dell has grown up a bit since I knew him.

His boss, founder of CAVU, was an instructor with me in VF-101, and a good guy. Not every Nuke XO screens for Command of a Carrier and I was really disappointed to see that Burner was not on the Command screen list after his XO tour.

He’s done well since. Knew he would. I’m genuinely pleased to see that.

Wonder how his daughter is doing after that TV show….

Indeed. Dave is awesome - certainly comfortable in his own skin.

Mark Kelly and his brother Scott were peers of mine. They were both at Oceana when I was there. Mark Kelly was a student at VF 101 when I was in the fleet at VF 84

Mark Kelly did not have the best reputation. He kept himself, he considered himself better than the rest of us… he was known as a bit of a tool.
