Sunoco Canada was, but is not related to, Sunoco USA. Suncor (owner of Sunoco Canada) acquired Petro-Canada and has chosen to elminate the Sunoco brand in Canada and convert them to P-C stations. Sunoco USA used to own Suncor, but spun it off years ago and licensed the name.
Sunoco USA does not have Top Tier certification, like BP, but likely would meet it given the higher levels of detergents they use.
