Exxon 85w-140, lifespan

Exxon Superflo 85w-140 DINO
D44 axle, HD offroad use, southern climate, not concerned about gas mileage

80w-90 dino or 75w-140 synthetic(towing) specified

how long can i expect to run this before changing? 10k, 15k, 1 yr, 2 yrs...

I think the diff. oil will last a very long time. Every time I have changed mine it has come out clean. Even after 10 years in some cases. I stand there and ask myself - why did I do this?
There are no combustion by products to contaminate it or coolant to get in there.

Unless of course you race your car or if its 4 wheel drive.

well, yeah it is 4x4. ill probably change it at least every 12 months less than 10k. just wanted to make sure this would be OK and maintain viscocity of at least 70w-130 over that time span b/c it is DINO
