Exterior House Painting Ongoing

This AM I plugged the patio lights back in to the normal switched single outlet. All unplugged to prep and paint. No workie. GFCI tripped. Painters did that. Turns out yesterday they kept tripping the GFCI in the breezeway. Both work fine, pass all tests (three testers, I'm not anal!) One of their sprayers is aging out but I didn't know this at first they just said they needed power. We checked their cords, that was my suspicion. No issues. Isolated to the sprayer (controller or motor) but he wanted to argue a bit that his sprayer is fine. But yet it trips two separate GFI's and his larger one doesn't, plus when he plugs into the the same circuit some lights dim and I mean significantly. (Not sure motor rating)

So I gave him a feed from my 30AMP rated 10awg "GF unprotected circuit" (I still use a 20A breaker) via a 10AWG cord. No issues.
Works great.

He didn't bring that sprayer back, but kind of irks me..........I think mainly he was just being man proud defensive. No need for that here.
