Exide vs East Penn for 51R

As the title suggests, if price would be similar then which one is a better option?

Though warranty on exide is 12 months while EP is 6 months.

Appreciate help and feedback.

I would get the East Penn every time. Chances are that you will need the warranty on the Exide...

Can't give a good answer without knowing the prices, but a 6 month warranty would indicate that battery is likely junk. Walmart has a 2 year 51R for $110. How much are these?

I would go to walmart and get the maxx one. I have had good luck over the years with there stuff....

The Duracell 51R at Sam's Club is made by East Penn and has a 36 month free replacement warranty. Normally $139, but on sale for $119 this weekend from Nov. 3 - 5, 2023.

Always East Penn. Back when I was a kid and poor I picked up a Rural King (Exide) group 65 for my boat. Used normally and every spring it was dead as a door nail. I think I warranted it every spring for 4-5 years until I got tired of going back to get another.
