I have had a scan gauge 2 for 4 years. Last month it started acting up.
Contacted factory for estimate to repair. The warrantee is for three
years. They told me to send it to them to check. Sent it in and they
replaced the main ckt board and the connecting cable. Was back in a
week with no charge. Now that is confidence in your product...

Sadly, customer service has gotten so bad that we feel the need to praise the companies that treat customers the way customers should be treated.

Glad to hear you got your scan gauged fix.

I only wish Milwaukee power tools were like that with their miserable POS batteries.
If its 1 day out of warranty you can go scratch.

I hope customer service gets better. I think that people should try to buy Made in US where possible. Anything outsourced usually means bad service (notice "usually") AND a bad product

I have alot of bad customer service experiences in recent memory, and very few good experiences. The bad experiences were at the places that sold alot of imported goods...

Milwaukee Electric Tools really took a step backward in quality when they were acquired by Techtronic Industries, IMO.

And Milwaukee is probably the best of the brands they have snatched up. At least some of their parts are not Chinese and are not shared with other brands. TTI sucks.

My Pfister kitchen faucet went south after 10-12 years. They have lifetime warranty but I didn't have receipt after that many years, I called and they asked for some pictures. After few days I received a brand new faucet, not the exact same model since that one was discontinued for some years.

There are some good customer services from some companies.

that's awesome!

Heck, I was just impressed with how fast they are.

I've had one since feb 2010, some time in 2012, 0r 13, I saw that for $25 you could send it in to be updated(I think it was just a reflash to the latest version)
the website, and the form said to expect/allow 2-4 weeks turn around. I got it back in 2-4 days.
USPS.

Linear Logic really does stand behind their product.
(I'm Sure I'm forgetting Chunks, and details here, it's something i read online 4+years ago...)
before i bought mine, there was a story on their site (can't seem to find it now) about a guy who was in a fight with GM over the device. they said it had over written parts of his ecu, and therefore his warranty was void or some such gem, he told them it could only read, not write, as well as clear DTC's. they still did not accept this.
upon hearing this, the CEO (IIRC, one of the high ups anyway) of Linear Logic asked the guy when he was supposed to meet with GM next, and told him he'd be there personally.
and he was.
and GM gave in.

Isn't Milwaukee Fuel line the best of the breed? I was not aware that Milwaukee has a bad reputation to service and support.

Milwaukee is better than Ridgid, but TTI's business is buying up reputable brands and turning them cheap. Milwaukee is the least molested brand they own.

I'd rather spend my money on Hitachi or Makita when I need power tools.
