Wife and I had one about 35 years ago. Nice little female cat.
Every litter she had, about one of them was born without a tail.
Those were the easiest kittens to give away.

I had two. Frisky and Charlie. They were whirlwind cats. Charlie took a ride on the roof of Moms van until he jumped off going about 35mph. We didnt know at the time. He was gone three days at the nudist colony behind our house, but he found his way back home. He also was bit by a rattlesnake and pulled through. I loved those kitties.

Manx cats are COOL! Had some friends with a couple, and they were great cats. They walked with a rake altitude; hind legs longer than the front. Big round heads. Very smart!

When I first moved here in 1984, I was a mechanic at an Allis Chalmers Dealership.
Nice days, we had the shop doors open.

There was a small black tom cat that would wander into the shop. Nice little cat and very friendly, but no tail.
Think the owner lived across the street.

We nick named him "Bob"
I kept cat treats for him in my toolbox.:)

Well, a barn cat. I grew up on a dairy farm, so we had quite the herd of cats, sustained by reproduction and people dropping them off out front.

The manx had a tabby pattern and was a little jacked-up in the back, like a '70s hot rod. One of her kittens had about a half-length tail. We also ended up with six-toed kittens fairly often.
