Here are some shots of Supertech and Mobil 1 European Formula motor oil. Although they both allegedly meet MB 229.5, Supertech meets SN and AECA A3/B4 but those designations are not listed on the Mobil 1 bottle. Any comments on why that would be?

Maybe the intended target audience for the Mobil is far more likely to be looking for the specs they print on the bottle, ie MB, VW, etc.

This is like that Castrol 0w-40/5w-40 thread all over again.

May want to double-check that 0w-40 bottle, I have four of them here, on the back they show:

It's nice to see Super Tech stepping it up their game into the other weight of oils such as this new European Formula and recently, the 0W20 as well. Is the price of the ST EF below $20 as it is with their other full synthetic oils?

I'm liking the fact that the new ST Full Syn 0W20 is(store dependent) $15.68-$15.98 per/5qt jug.

See my pic. It's likely located in the same location on his jug (we are both in Canada) and he left it out of the photo. This is similar to an exchange we had before where he posted a Castrol 5w-40 bottle instead of the 0w-40 bottle and caused similar confusion on here.

Similar confusion = a clickbait/troll post.

Why is the oil so much more expensive up there? $28.88 for supertech? I don't think the exchange rate is that much of a difference is it?

Don't hold your breath for an "european formula 0W20" though

One Canadian dollar is 77.2 cents US, so that $28.88 works out to $22.29 USD. So it's definitely not as good of a deal buying Supertech oil up here as it is in the US.

However your bottles are 5 liters, more volume than the 5 quart bottles we get stateside.

Or maybe just a mistake if there's no track record of trolling.

There's no fee, and for most of those OEM specifications, A3/B4 is the prerequisite in the first place. So, even if it was on the bottle, which it actually is, it wouldn't be a worry, assuming the other certifications are genuine.

Wow, maybe it was off to the left. Probably was. Correct bottle. Need a wider lense. Wasn't in the verbage as it was with Super Tech.

Ha,ha. Nope. here is another shot of the jug.

Dude, I have the same jug. It's in the black part on the left hand side, the part you continue to leave out of the picture.
