Ethanol vs ethanol free gas

I have a boat that requires 89 or higher octane. I can get the 89 E10 for say $.40 cheaper than 90 octane ethanol free. If putting in stabil 360 marine in every tank does it matter much? One boat is a Yamaha 225 sho that needs it and my other has twin 2007 G1 Etec 175s that only needs regular.

Would there be any benefit to either by just getting the 90 octane ethanol free? I have a 116 gallon external tank in my truck to bulk buy with.

The benefit with ethanol free gasoline is chiefly realized during storage to prevent phase separation, which damages fuel components. If you use your boat regularly, and plan on burning your fill somewhat quickly, you can get by with E10. Just make sure there is only ethanol free gasoline in your tank at the end of the season. If you trust yourself to remember this you can save a few bucks.

I have a 2007 Lund Type Grand Sport with a 115 hp 4 stroke. I used to run premium but changed over to the 10% alcohol because the manual states it is ok. I have owned the boat for since 2013 and have had zero issues with bad gasoline. I do use Stabil when I store it in the off season which is about 5 months. No problems at all and lots of money saved.

I have stabil 360 marine in every tank since I fill from my storage tank

I am too to be honest. But it seems to be highly regarded by most that use it.
not to state the obvious, but I don't think people would use a product they aren't a fan of or don't believe in.

I have stopped using Stabil. I don't store fuel for more than a handful of months so it seems like a waste to me.

I meant the engine manufactures but yes; people like it due to the quality of their fuels after letting it sit. I use it on the boats because they'll sit for long whiles. However due to finding it on amazon for $4 per 8oz (80gal treatment) that makes it about $1 a tank in the vehicle for me and it now includes PEA. I have no idea how much but I'm emailing them. Gumout Regane is about $6 for the same amount of fuel treatment (20 gallons) and the same 360 marine is $15 per 8oz at walmart and autozone so I loaded up.

All my outdoor equipment and 4-wheeler get non-ethanol gas treated with Techron Marine Fuel Treatment. Supposed to stabilize fuel for 2 years, but it's getting harder to find.
