Ethanol Fuels and Carb Deposit Differences

Since they went to 15% ethanol, started adding a bit of Star Tron Enzyme to vehicles tanks. The cars don't burn a tank of gas in a day or two. More like 2-3 weeks. Short commutes to work. Don't trust that 15% corn liquor in the cars that long. May start turning. Not taking the chance of messing up the injectors with that stuff turning into sugar. Not worth it. One bottle does 512 gallons for $ 24 bucks from Walmart

Any vehicle from the last 30 years will have a sealed fuel system with an EVAP system. You’re only going to get water in the tank if you leave the cap off and cover open during a storm. Heck my gas cans aren’t sealed and they’re subject to whatever temp and humidity is in my garage. Never any water or “sugar” in those either… generator, zero turn and golf cart couldn’t care less.

Cobalt just sat for a month with a quarter tank, no problems. Prior to me buying it it sat for 6 months untouched.

The Star Tron Enzyme is like Stabil, but a little better they say. I have no concerns about water, or I'd be using dry gas. My concern is the 15% ethanol, which, like Stabil, Star Tron keeps it from going bad. I'm assuming you never used Stabil in any of your small engine fuels. That's why boats run on pure gasoline at the filling stations at the docks. Boats can sit for months with the same fuel and cannot have pump gas in them due to ethanol.
