Esso XD-3 0w30 prices/mixology

Just a heads up for the Canadians on BITOG...Dowler-Karn Lubricants (519-631-3180) in St. Thomas, Ontario has the XD3 0w30 in stock - $3.67 per litre - 1 litre jugs only they said.

Oakridge Ford in London, Ont has the MC 5w-20 for $3.53 per litre.

I have a 2002 Civc and run the Mobil 1 0w-20 with a napa gold filter. Anyone think a mix of Mobil 1
0w-20 and the Esso XD3 0w30 would be harmful?

Shouldn't be harmful at all. Lots of people run Mobil 1 5w30 (which is essentially what you would have if you mixed them) in their Hondas without any ill effects.
