The street level filming 3 min in is pretty sweet. And those rosary beads hanging from the rear view mirror make a nice side-g-force meter. Love the skinny tires!
Edit/spoiler: Love the nuns and oil barrells; did they not read the chase cliche book that says you need to hit a minority-owned fruit stand and a pyramid of boxes in an alley?

The get away car's rear wheel/axle gets seriously gimped at 8:26

running a getaway car ala "Fiat style" is just plain fun, as you can see in the shot. skinny tires with tha lack of traction is what makes it even more exciting.
Yeah, it has limitations but nonetheless, luv those scenes.

It is better than the car chase in "Bullit." This chase starts out a little slow though.
