hey i have a buddy with an evo and swears by (does not everone thou) this eneos 0w50....so i called eneos, and of course he says i can runs the 0-50 in my srt4, and says it a far superior oil for my application than amsoil afl 5-40.

anyone want to add to this, im i best to stick with afl 5-40?? what group is eneos??
i cant really see anything that much better than amsoil.

Eneos is decent and 0w50 is awesome, but did anyone say anything about why it would be better?

People do indeed "swear by" a lot of things. My brother has a friend who "swears by" Castrol Syntec 5w-50 with half a quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer in his Honda S2000. He was never able to give a good reason except the whole "used it in all my cars, never had a problem" tripe.

That said, it couldn't hurt to give the Eneos a try. No other way to know whether it's better than AFL. I'd imagine it's a bit thick, though. You always want the thinnest oil that'll work for you...
