It's on their website ... 99.9% @ 20 microns. 13 grams is the holding capacity of the filter.

That's what shocked me the P1 is 99% @ 20 microns, RP is 99% @ 25 microns, tho i Know that 5 % isn't nothing it's just that fact i thought with the syn media it would be at least 20% also.

still both superb filters.

So a PureOne would be max efficiency and "good" flow?

Well according to river_rats filter test here the P1 flowed very well.

That plus the flow data Busa posted many times. Perhaps not enough information for some.

But, RP is obviously a well made extended OCI filter as the video shows. I'd have no issue running the RP filter if money were no object, and I could get max use with the extended oci.

Here the link to the test data from Purolator on the Flow vs. PSID of a PureONE. Sayjac's link is broken above:

The Royal Purple is constructed the same as the ACDelco Ultragaurd filters were/are, and also the the Toyota TRD filters.

I know when the ACDelco Ultragaurds came out around 2001 or 2002 that they were the rave - because I was looking at them for my new Z06 at the time. Then some garage testers claimed they were too restrictive to flow. There was tons of chat buzz on the Vette boards about it, and I actually emailed back and forth with ACDelco Engineering Dept about their flow rate. ACDelco said they had very good flow performance, and that famous graph that gets posted now and then showing the cold oil flow vs. PSID was the graph that ACDelco used to market the Ultragaurd filters. They also have a very good filtering efficiency rating.

I think the Royal Purple, ACDelco Ultragaurd and Toyota TRD filters are very good filters ... but rather expensive and hard to find.

Yes there all about the same filter(very good,i sent a UPF to RR for testing did very well on filtration)you still can get the UPF in pf52 i buy cases from my local Pontiac dealer.

i would have no problem using a RP when and if they become more readily available locally.
