Hmmm i though at one time it was floating around here, i'll do that thanks DT.

in the mean time if anybody has a clue post up....

Boy i should have checked there wed site first,doh!, says 99% @ 25 microns,but i thought it was better then that i had @ 20 in my head,hmm.

Just got off the phone with Jeff from RP tech and boy nice guy but hush hush could only give me the efficiency thats it no beta ratio,not even a by pass setting nothing!,i told him RP needs to do better and that you can go to WIX web site and get all that info,he agreed.

did get some oil change stickers sent,lol

99% @ 25 micron is essentially a Beta Ratio. That's not a bad efficiency.

B25=100 means 99.0% @ 25 microns.
B20=75 means 98.7% @ 20 microns.
B10=5 means 80% @ 10 microns.

So where did you get these Beta Ratio? The B10=5 (80% @ 10 microns) is much better than the advertised Ford spec of 80% @ 20 microns.

I got them from RP's engineering department in connection to a story I was working on. I have that 20-028 filter on one of my trucks and asked for the specs. I posted them once or twice before. These were listed as per the ISO4548-12 multipass test.

Jim you must have better connections,lol

RP Beta Ratios are listed under the Oil Filter FAQs:

http://www.royalpurple.com/faqs-oil-filter.html

Average beta rating based on ISO 4548-12 multi-pass test methods:

B100 = 25 (which means at 25 or greater micron; media is 99% efficient.)
B75 = 20 (which means at 20 or greater micron; media is 98.7% efficient. Also considered absolute rating.)
B5 = 10 (which means at 10 micron or greater; media is 80% efficient.)

You're welcome, but I can't take the credit. Shamus first posted the information last August:

still thanks, never knew about that post.
