As I mentioned in a post from another thread ( HERE ), I contacted Highline Warren a few days ago to see what they say now about the efficiency spec on the new Mobil 1 oil filter. When I called well over a month ago, I was told it was 99% @ 20u, but when I called a few days ago and the question was escalated higher I got the info below.

So I got a response today from Quality Support at Service Champ. Strange that Service Champ is involved, but maybe Highline Warren also handles Service Champ, which we have seen to be tied to Premium Guard Inc. (confused yet, lol). Is the new Mobil filter a Service Champ in a Mobil can? See the email snap-shots below.

So it looks like the efficiency of 99% @30u and greater particles is what the new Mobil 1 filters are. Also, I was at Walmart a few days ago and saw both filter box styles - one with the old M+H filter & one with the new Mobil 1 filter. Both had the statement "Efficiency rating based on removing particles greater than 30 microns" on the box. See photos below I took at Walmart for both the old and new boxes.

This is a good start b/c I think some here were starting to think they are 99%@20.

Highline Warren owns Service Champ & SC must be the main contact &/or distribution for this set-up. Bing search shows HW bought SC in 2017. Good that they're still putting the micron rating on the box & are being made to the same efficiencies as the M+H made Mobil filters were.

Ironic that it sits on top of a Fram
Was it an Endurance or Ultra @ 99% 20 microns? Lol

Sitting on XGs. I cropped the photos to focus on the Mobil filters. Leaky XGs about the same efficiency now. 🙃:D

That's what I was told by Highline Warren a month or more ago. This time I pressed for better verification because the guy I talked to a few days ago didn’t sound sure. So he escalated it with my contact info, and Richard from Service Champ sent me the emails.

until Fram Endurance fixes bypass leak issue, its not worth the money.

So PG has better micron rating than latest Mobil1 ? If that is the case, its a better buy since they cost about the same

What part no is the box in the photos?

What’s also interesting is that according to this post by @Glenda W. Service Champ is part of the PGI portfolio.
I asked Richard about that because I saw he was with Service Champ, but he never gave any information about it. There was some back and forth in the email chain I didn't post. I also made sure he was talking about the new Mobil filter and not the old M+H made filter.

Made in Vietnam is definitely Highline Warren?

Did they say if its an ISO test? Curious how they got that 99% @ 30 microns number…
