I've got a 2005 Chevy Aveo in black, washed the car on Sunday.

I used the WAUD with a microfiber drying towel and am very happy with the results. It was easy to apply, but I can see how if you sprayed a bit too much it would leave a dull white film. The WAUD went over the body, plastic bumper and trim and a bit on the glass and lamps. Everything looks great.

It rained later that day and produced very small beads. I took pictures yesterday, I'll see if I can get some up on this thread later.

I really like this stuff too. I use it on my white clearcoated '02 Trailblazer. Makes all the rubber and black plastic trim look good. Leaves a nice slick coating. The haze on paint, glass, etc goes away when I go over it as a final wipedown with a dry cotton terry towel. That's what I use - works great. Just washed and "Waxed as I Dried" two vehicles in the past week.

Its a bit gimmicky for me. I'm a hardcore zaino buff, but my dealership did give me a sample bottle of the eagle one stuff to try out when i had the truck in for service.

I've used it on my Silver SS before and it works very well leaving a nice clean shine. However, it does not last half as long as a good handjob

with good wax.

I have a Honda Element that has a good deal of plastic on the body. Many people I know, that also have Elements, are using the "Wax-As-U-Dry" to do the plastic, as well as the whole car.

I contacted Eagle One about this product, and they told me that it is not designed to replace a traditional polish/wax job, but it is a tool that can be used to give vehicles a fast, (or frequent) wax job, or freshen a previous wax job. It even contains a UV/sun-blocker, to help protect the exterior plastic on today's cars.

I use Zaino and use Zaino Z6 Gloss Enhancer after drying the car off. It takes about 5 minutes for a quicky job, or maybe 10 minutes to do a thorough job. The shine is great and I know I'm not building up any crap on the finish.

I recently tried the Eagle 1 wax as U dry stuff on both of my vehicles and i'm impressed.Nice stuff and super easy to use.

I use it and love it. I never wash a vehicle now without applying WAUD or Turtle Wax Express Shine if I am not paste waxing. It is just so easy to spray on and then chamois off, which I do anyway, and the results are very nice.

I picked up this to try out on our Chevy Silverado and was really surprised with the results. I prefer a seperate waxing, but it's a job on a pickup. This works great while your washing - really no more work than washing and drying. Don't think it lasts too long though.

waud is a great product to apply in between (real) waxes. i use it after waxing as well; it seems to add a bit of depth (my car is silver).

i also use it on my bike, and it's silky smooth. bugs come off quite nicely. it does have a few coats of meg's #26 as well, but it sees a lot of miles, rains, bugs, and washes.

the eagle one detail spray is good for the money as well.

I use waud on my cars but I don't use it on my bike since the brake rotors are sitting there like a big bullseye.

What precautions do you take so that you don't get any of it on the rotors?

i generally don't spray directly on my bike. i get my m/f towel damp with product then wipe on, buff dry if necessary.

if you did get some on your pads, it would probably burn of quite quickly.

(i have abs anyway, so i'll have that "pulsing heat" to dry things up)

I love this stuff, and use it every time I wash my car. It really makes a huge difference between just washing alone, and it doesn't really add any time at all.

It's no substitute for a good waxing, but between real wax applications, it's fantastic!

they have a "new & improved" version out. supposed to last 3 times as long or something. i bought the only bottle on the shelf.

the beading is quite good after 2 weeks, but the feel is awful. of course the car needs real wax anyway.

the new stuff is in a blue bottle.
