Today I tried Eagle One Wax As-U-Dry on '00 silver E430. The car was in garage after comming home from carwash, the hood was warm so I waited 1 hour for it to cool down.

I sprayed diluted Eagle One to the trunk lid, roof and the hood in that order, after waiting for one minute I used damp microfiber cloth to rub it in circular motion just like buffing, from the trunk toward the hood. Then I used dry cotton towel to dry from the trunk to the hood. After the top was dried, I went to work on the sides. All of these works took less than 30 minutes. The paint was very smooth when I touched it and it was very shinny. It was just like I spent several hours waxing and buffing.
The Honda S2000 was done last week and it still is shinning and smooth to the touch today. It looks like I do not need to use Eagle One Wax As-U-Dry more than once a month. Great product for lazy person like me

It is cheap too, one bottle can be used more than ten times, becaused I diluted it with water and the ratio is 4:1

Why in the world you you dilute WAUD? It is a great product and I use it all of the time.

Mother FX Spray Wax is a little better, and much easier to use than WAUD

buffing in a circular motion will only cause swirls, that is bad.

read up on autopia.org .. it is the detailing worlds equivalent of BITOG

I love these types of products! I have found other products as well. After I dry my vehicles, I wring out my drying towel one last time and spray "Was-As-U-Dry", "Quick Detail", "Mist & Wipe right onto the towel itself. Then I go over the whole vehicle as if I were drying it, periodicly respraying the towel. My vehicles always look waxed. A micro fiber cloth may be all you need at the end.

Yup, great product. Not only does it look waxed, it IS waxed.

But from what I have heard, the wax works by reacting with water to bond to the surface of your vehicle. So when you dilute it, the wax would have already been "reacted" and will not bond as well.

The newer ones in the blue bottle are good stuff. Old ones in the red bottles are ok, but turns the car into a dust magnet.
