E3 plug condition after 45K miles

Not sure why everyone is saying these look bad. They look normal IMO. And since it's normal copper tip, it wore as a normal copper tip would. What's so shocking here?
Maybe it's because of the big, in your face ground electrode that is discolored due to heat. A traditional ground electrode is small and it's hard to see the discoloration, but it sure discolors as well.
 
I put those e plugs in my twin cylinder Kawasaki tractor mower. I had problems with it backfing. Tore them out and went back to recommended plug. Problem solved.
