Dusting off drum brakes

I had asthma as a youngster so I use a healthy stream of water on the 'dust' into a suitable catch basin for disposal.

That is what I did when I was in shop. Hot water and a safe catch can does wonders in terms of cleaning them off. Lube and adjust, call it a day. Since shop I haven't touched a drumb in forever. I get them inspected and adjusted every 30-40k but most of the time it doesn't need it
