Just recently got a new Duralast Gold 24F-DLG battery for my suv this month. The old duralast gold battery was black with a yellow colored top but the new one they handed me was all black with a black top. All the stickers indicated that it was a gold 24F-dlg battery. Anyone bought/seen this new 24F-DLG duralast gold battery in the new all black color. Any input/insight would be appreciated.

My guess is it will still put out 12V.

Should be fine , likely just some new stickers they are using . Did you ask to see if they knew if these were being made by another supplier ?

Did you figure out who the actual manufacturer is? Hopefully not Exide. Does the battery have cap covers?

the yellow top Duralast in the Accord is going on it's 7th winter--I think this will be it's last. Never had a non-new car battery last this long
