duracoat firearm finish

at last summers camp perry matches i picked up the 4 oz. duracoat firearm finish from lauer custom weaponry and was wondering if any of you folks had applied it yourself, i have a 10 inch ruger 22 that i fluted the barrel and need to refinish it. it needs to be sprayed on similar to auto painting which i can do but the local paint shop can put paint into a spray can and i wonder if it will harden up as it is a 2 part product, have any of you folks used this product ? it looked on their guns as a great product.a super rust preventer .. .thanks
