DuPont Teflon Wax Opinions ?

Honestly, I live in Biloxi and as you may know, the sun beats down here too. My car sits out and is black and I wouldn't feel comfortable with a six month wax job on it. I gave it the full treatment last month, but I plan on doing it again right around Oct when it starts to cool down a tad.
 
Nah, I'm not worried. The guy has been in business for close to 20 years and he does a really good job. If there was something better out there, I'm sure he would use it.
 
sounds like he's telling you lies. Teflon does not protect against heat, and it only bonds at 400+ degrees.

its non stick, thats what teflon is but in wax it really does not provide much more non stick then normal waxes.

the way to protect against heat is the use of polymer or acrylic sealants.
