I was on vacation visiting a pair of college friends and their kids who are living in Florence for a couple of years. My buddy recently got a Ducati Monster, so we thought it'd be fun to get me a bike for the day and ride around the Tuscany countryside. It's been almost 7 years since I sold my Suzuki GS500 that I had for 14 years. Was able to rent a Scrambler (relatively new model with an air cooled 800cc engine), jacket, gloves, and helmet for a day and we spent about 6 hours riding around. Easy to ride bike, considerably more powerful than my GS500 but I had no trouble "remembering" how to ride. Had an absolute blast with no "oh S" moments. I'll post a few pics later after I get them off my phone.

Here we are getting ready to leave the shop. The jacket makes me look sorta fat but I am not 😁. My friend here and I have known each other since we started college in 1995.

And another couple shots of the bike and the countryside.
