Driving music

Besides the obvious listening to the exhaust, what are everyone's favorite songs to listen to when driving for fun?

My 2 favorite are Mason Williams - Classical Gas (The Smothers Brothers version, not the one with Manheim Steamroller) and Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover.

I don't know if I can narrow it down to a couple songs...but anything rock. Tool, Muse, Rise Against, Chevelle, Rush, Def Leppard, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Aerosmith, Green Day.

I like Sirius XM on a long trip. Mostly 70s and 80s, Classic Rewind/Vinyl and Country for a break. Occasional foray into BBC News until it gets depressing...then the cds if things get too repetitive (we ARE talking a long trip, right?) mostly Classic Rock.

I just did a short drive through the hills here after dinner. Classical Gas while on a fairly curvy road is awesome.

Used to have a Cassette "Masters of Metal", that had a wide variety of metal that I listened to Friday nights when Uni finished at 10PM, and I drove 300 miles to my parent's place.

Had a surreal solo trip driving home from my Grandma's funeral, listening to the EP version of "Great Southern Land" while traversing country from burned wheat stubble to yellow and purple paddocks (Canola and Patterson's Curse respectively).

These days B-Rock radio station mostly (that's the Bathurst FM station), Bring me the Horizon has gone pretty well lately too.

There's gems in every kind of music, imo.. I'mvery diverse in my taste of music, but some kinds get old more quick than others.

AC/DC, Led Zeppelin etc.. always go down well...

I used to like Radar love by Golden earring, but it cost me a speeding ticket.

Any of the old Tragically hip, Thin Lizzy or The Who's Quadrophenia works well.
