Driveworks oil filter questions

I have been in AAP countless times and never taken a second look at these filters until now. I inspected (as far as visible construction and weight) at the one that corresponds to my vehicle as well as other canister types. They appear to be very well made and hefty. Pictures of opened ones on BITOG also show a stoutly built quality interior. Who knows, i may/may not use it, but it does appear to be a well constructed budget piece.

I was actually impressed by the filter I cut open. AAP gave little info about them so I decided to do my own research and saved the filter to show customers.

They are probably better than the non-ecore AC PF46's I still buy from AAP but I still like "keeping my GM all GM" and the "product of USA" stamped on the bottom.
