Drive Train except the Trans.

1999 Toyota Tacoma TRD, V6, X, Auto, Ext Cab. 80,000 miles.

Guys, is this plan OK for the "Lubes" except the trans.
Ams Oil Heavy Duty Synthetic grease (GHD), for all joints!
Ams Oil "Severe Gear" Synthetic EP gear Lube 75W-90 for everything else.
I am wide open for suggestions, just don't want to make any mistakes, if you are going to do it, do it right!

The Amsoil grease and SVG are excellent choices.

unDummy, Thank you for replying. The only thing that worried me is that in the Ams Oil literature it says that the "Severe Gear" Synthetic EP Gear Lube is "Compatible with most limited slip differentials"
My truck is a 4X4 with a button I can push at low speed for locking up the rear. I have only used this about 10 times to get out of "Sticky" situations. 99% of the time just 4 wheel takes care of everything.
The part gives me concern is when they say "compatible" with most limited slip differentials", is this what have, and will Ams Oil work the best? Please don't hesitate to expound to your hearts content.

Amsoil will work. Don't worry about the "compatibility" warning.
Do you have your owners manual?
Is this a button to engage a rear locker?
low range? or .....?

If the button is for an electric or pneumatic rear locker, I'm going to guess that it isn't a limited slip at all.

The Amsoil should work fine. The Toyota locking differentials are just open differentials with the ability to lock them like a spool via an electric actuator. No special fluid is required. My 4Runner has one and I've been using M1 75W-90 with good luck.

The Toyota electric lockers are trick. I modded mine so I can engage it in 4high and 2high in addition to 4low. It's always fun to see what you can get out of without using 4wd...
