Yes, its all I have used for years. You can just take the tip off, or do I like have done and replace the hose with nylon tubing and a ball valve.
I even put a schraeder valve in so I don't have to pump.

Here's my first one, unmodified.
This thing is cool but the fact that it only comes with the "garden hose" size thread while not coming with adapter fittings to make it work with smaller hoses makes it a bad buy - IMO it should come with adapters to 3/8" fuel hose or something.

This thing takes FOREVER to fill up a 5 gallon can. If you're pumping fuel with any regularity, you're better served by this one:

I have this pump but have yet to use it. My Mityvac 6410A covers most duties these days. HOWEVER I paid $175 for the Mityvac just back in March '24 and I see today's price is $311, which is a little crazy.
