I'm looking for rear sub bushings for 98 lesabre. One YouTube vid a guy said the rears are same as fronts. Others say different rears are different.
GM dealer said rear sub bushings were discontinued. However I think 1997 Bonneville,Pontiacs, are dorman 924-045.coulndt I use those for my rears? The fronts are 924-043.

Looking at Rockauto, the only subframe bushings I see listed for your year are 924-043. It does in fact state you can use them for both the front and rear.

A mechanic helper looked a month ago.tear one rotted bad.he said,it's his professional opinion,Thier different sizes from front
My research,YouTube shows. Others have used the front ones in rear. So I started looking at other cars with same engine as 3800,hoping they have the same subframes too, hence Bonneville,Pontiac.

The 924-045 are for Pontiac, bonniville rears .so made me think,I could maybe, put those on my 98 lesabre rear .same engine...

Thanks! I know .not a dorman fan either.but it's all that's easily available.
I'm not kidding though, the subframe bushings on my car lasted less than a year before the rubber was permanently compressed and there was slop in the mount, causing a clunk. Had I not thrown out my originals I'd have reinstalled them. My only choice for the bushings was dorman, so I was screwed.

Are polyurethane mounts available?

I once bought polyurethane stuff because they were the only made in USA parts that I could find.

I would get polyurethane for those mounts for sure if it was available.
The hard part would be finding out of polyurethane stuff is available, but made for a different vehicle, but work fine on your vehicle. How I figured it out was in a forum. The manufacturer never tested their parts on my particular vehicle, so it wasn't listed, but parts interchanges and forum posts suggested that they would fit, and they did. And really I had an oil leak problem soaking the rubber parts to switching to polyurethane was a real benefit.
