Does BITOG have an option to Donate other than the link to PayPal? I divorced myself from PayPal a few years ago and do not care to give them access to any of my current information. Thank you.

Did you try clicking on the "Donate" button? It gives you an option to donate with credit or debit card in addition to PayPal.
I did, and it still took me to PayPal. The difference is it didn't require a login. Once it went to PayPal, I backed out.

Also, when you mouse-over the Donate button, this is the text which appears:

that isnt regular "paypal". its paypal checkout you use a CC its the same as any other online payment taker.. costco, walmart etc.

If that still isnt good.. you might be able to mail a money order.

Paypal doesnt scare me.. Venmo and zelle do.

I had a garage door repaired and the guy would only accept Venmo. Don't understand why he had that policy.

Yes, and when you click on that button, it takes you to a different page where you don't have to login to PayPal, but it stays in the PayPal ecosystem.
Make sure to check the monthly contribution box 📦

Thank you to all who've provided suggestions. I have been provided an address where alternate methods of payment can be sent.

Perhaps I should ask for their bank's routing and account numbers so I can link my bank account to theirs making it convenient to drop some cash whenever I feel like it? Deposits only. Trust me!

Paypal owns Venmo. So there the Same.

Zelle is owned by a half dozen big banks, likely making it at the same time the most crooked, and the most secure.

I still prefer cash.

Agreed.

@TiGeo
I have a different take. I'm not scared of venmo or zelle because of the bank. It's the fact there's no protection at all and no way to get your money back. If you get scammed.
PayPal, at least has basic level of protection.
I can always throw some some cash at someone. I haven't actually needed zelle or venmo so far.

No way in hell I'm buying something off Facebook marketplace with venmo!!

Because it's 2025 and it's an easy way to pay people. Why are folks scared of Venmo here? I use it all the time.
I have a Venmo account and have had a paypal account (no longer) and I am not "scared" of it. I don't like Venmo / Paypal (same company) because there unregulated non banks posing as banks - meaning the foster fraud with their system and do little about it. I have had money stolen somehow - still don't know how - via paypal. I was dumb enough to have a credit card on file.

The bank would not back it up as fraud because I had made legitimate purchases with that card using paypal - so the bank simply denied the fraud claim. I had no way to prove I did not initiate the charges, and since I could not prove I did not receive the good or service - because I had no idea what it was for.

Zelle is backed by the banks. Like them or not they control the money in our system. I would use zelle, but no one else does so its sort of worthless.

That's dumb. I hope he told customers this before he showed up 'cause plenty of people don't use it and won't set it up (especially older people, for instance).
