Donaldson P169071 virgin oil filter cut open

I was wondering whether or not there was an anti drain back valve for this filter or not as I’m considering stuffing it onto my Kawasaki mule. I think it does given the pics, but please lmk if I’m wrong. Pics below. Media (synteq) looks amazing imo. Filter purchased 2/5/25. I’m thinking this filter would work just fine for a slightly inverted (mostly lateral) mounting in use. Let me know if you disagree.

Yes, it has a nitrile rubber ADBV shown in the 3rd photo ... it's the black disk sitting over the base plate inlet holes. It should work in any mounted orientation.

I thought so too! Weird their technical specs say “no” when you read them about the adbv.
