Anyone know who Vantage Oil is from Ohio? 5 bucks a quart. Plus, they now sell Prestone antifreeze at Dollar Tree in Northern California.

Let's be clear about something, what is Dollar Tree good 4, Greeting Cards, they used to be .50 cents a card and now they are a dollar a card. I know this is about Vantage Oil, but I had my mom love the cards that I got her from the Dollar Tree store, as opposed to the cards I would get her from the Grocery store at the last minute when I did not plan ahead and the card costs me $7.00

I am cheap on Greeting Cards because they get thrown away, but motor oil from Dollar Tree, I cannot go there.

PQIA passes it for the listed application, so it won't kill your run of the mill engine. Should be fine for top up if you don't trust it to stand up for full changes.

They tested it 5 years ago. That isnt a test from 1 year ago, I'm good knowing it would be a hard pass. You had me at dollar store too even before that. I'd probably use a 25 year old Pennzoil conventional of conventional first, of which i have a few on the shelf.

seems like only a couple of dollars more you can go to Walmart and get a name brand instead,,,just skip a trip through Starbucks or Mc Donald's.

It's better than the 11 oz bottles of "SMB" 10w30 that also claimed to meet API specs.

Back in 2005 or so we could get Philips Tropartic 10w30 blend for $1/qt at dollar tree. Or ATF. Good times.

Doesn't look like that matters. Just randomly checked "Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W-20" and it was last tested in '22. Does that mean it's unsafe to use ? I'm sure others are just as old or older. Even PQIA's website is listing test results from '23 on their front page.

years ago, I used plenty of Trop Bartic engine oil, quite reasonably priced.
