Anyone know who Vantage Oil is from Ohio? 5 bucks a quart. Plus, they now sell Prestone antifreeze at Dollar Tree in Northern California.

Doesn't look like that matters. Just randomly checked "Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W-20" and it was last tested in '22. Does that mean it's unsafe to use ? I'm sure others are just as old or older. Even PQIA's website is listing test results from '23 on their front page. They tested it 5 years ago. That isnt a test from 1 year ago
years ago, I used plenty of Trop Bartic engine oil, quite reasonably priced. It's better than the 11 oz bottles of "SMB" 10w30 that also claimed to meet API specs.
Back in 2005 or so we could get Philips Tropartic 10w30 blend for $1/qt at dollar tree. Or ATF. Good times.
Exactly, Considering DG was caught up in the misleading oil labels on stocked oil in the past I'd think they have learned by now.It actually looks really good on paper - 219 boron, low CCS value, strong ZDDP content…I’d use it for sure!
