Thanks Amkeer. Yup, they're providing the extended warranty for the V6 up to 2002 model year regardless of build date. But they also provided specific date ranges for the engines affected in which if the above posted date range is correct, would only affect the earliest-production 2002 model year cars.
It'd be nice, though, to get confirmation of the date range and whether it is specifically the engine build date or the car build date that is being referenced. Are engines commonly built months before the car build date?
