Does Amsoil discolor your engine's metal surfaces?

AMSOIL is all well and great but if it does this as do other oils then thats another way its a good oil and not stand-out.

If the tint comes from a harmless dye, how does that in any way reflect poorly on the oil?

Amsoil keeps engines very clean. No varnish. Look at the heavy does of calcium in that 0w20 VOA.

That was not my point, only that other oils would do that too if the quoted statement was true, hence AMSOIL not unique. Not a knock of the oil. Matter of fact, I actually inferred that due to AMSOIL or other oil use, that varnish may not be there! So, rather, a good thing.

I saw the used oil analysis and i like it.
