By the way, the Durango is essentially a long wheelbase GC. Same exact running gear with exception to 3.0L Eco diesel and 6.4L
GC and Durango are not in same category: 2 row vs 3 row.
GC considered a premium offering over Durango; just look at the prices of the higher trim levels.
Only 1 trim level without leather in GC; 2 trim levels without leather in Durango.
At any rate, both benefit from the legacy engineering shared with ML350 from the Chrysler/Mercedes marriage, which is why they ride so well.
Good summation, though I'm curious as to your critique of the HID's, I'm quite fond of my auto-levelling ones
