If it were gross intrusion, I'd agree. But I'm talking about this specific situation where the OP hardly crossed the line. But passing the buck is fair?
If your chosen parking spot is too small because someone intrudes into it, maybe push the intruding vehicle rather than pass on the problem to the next person. That's appropriate vigilantism. Let fisticuffs and Judge Judy sort it out later. Or you could look for another space.
Where do you draw the line when a physical line has been crossed? If it were gross intrusion, I'd agree. But I'm talking about this specific situation where the OP hardly crossed the line.
You know it when you see it. An inch or two wouldn't put me over the edge. (No pun intended)Where do you draw the line when a physical line has been crossed?
Was he sitting in it, or trying to start remotely?hahahaha I came out of Walmart one day, and there was a young fella trying (in vain) to start my car.
I said "nice car, have you had it long?" He said that he just got it, and now the ****ing key fob wasn't working. I said "here, try THIS key fob". HIS car was parked two rows over, and identical to mine. I thought he was never going to stop apologizing.

If I ever were to buy a used Porsche, I would employ your servicesI'll touch cars at car shows, like to lightly rub the back of my fingers across the the paint to feel the smoothness. if they see me I'll compliment then on the paint.![]()
Practically speaking, it would depend on how close the intruder is to my vehicle. I really don't like getting boxed in.You know it when you see it. An inch or two wouldn't put me over the edge. (No pun intended)
He was sitting in it. We're rural. Many of us don't lock our vehicles. Was he sitting in it, or trying to start remotely?
I guess in the end, I was all hot air and will do nothing, probably the wise thing to do.So given the spot behind you ends at a curb, anyone clearly had room to get in and out. The extra 4 inches wouldn't matter.
I have come to believe half the world is unbalanced. If all they did was leave a note, consider yourself lucky.
To be honest when I looked this morning, people cannot get out of those spaces without more than one try. Like the old days in the city. I think you’re right it’s anyone parking in front of him is aggravating, but just over the line he gets to say something. You nailed it.From now on, park with your back bumper in perfect alignment with the inside of the line. It will aggravate people just the same, but they can't say anything about it.
This made me think of Brad Marchand. Remember he used to lick the visors of other players….Licking a door handle is definitely a no-no.
