Should this thread turn out more volatile and accusatory than the Budweiser thread, I wash my hands of it!

If you don't know in 2015 what a half-tuck refers to, don't even bother finding out now, because you're a hopeless dodo. Just go fall off a cliff or something.

I admit, I sometimes half-tuck!

YouTube is loaded with videos about "tucking," but probably different from what your definition is.

I tuck mine in that little pocket in the jeans. It's five inches long so it sticks out. Don't want to scare the public.

Dodo count +1 btw.

At least you are going for the win!

To make this thread more hilarious, I ask those who know to what "half-tuck" refers to not give it away, please just answer my question, and those who don't know, please give it your best stab.

So that's a haphazard half-tuck then? How do others respond to it? Do they try to fix it for you, or are they accepting and maybe complimenting your style?

My half-tuck is very deliberate and has to be from front middle to backside middle. I'm very OCD about it, which is of course ironic. Also, I don't let it hang down all the way, just a few inches. Occasionally a dodo points out my supposed faux pas, but I also get commended for the half-tuck.

Well, it could have numerous meanings. As a Sportbike rider, it means tucking down behind the windscreen to get out of the airstream, when riding at high speed.

I live in Southern California. Everyone is simply too cool, to acknowledge anybody else. One learns that quick here, after the third snubbing, then does the same.

A speedy way for a dodo to take the final exit! Bye-bye now.

If you half-tuck, you are being casual without being a slob.

So, all the way in or all the way out for you?

all the way out when i'm casual, my shirts aren't that long that warrant them needing to be tucked in.

when i'm at work in my work uniform fully tucked.

My job has me jumping in and out of a chair 100x a day.
Often, my tuck gets untucked 20 minutes later.
Right now I'm in a 2XL that stays tucked better than most.
If I wore a belt, I might have better luck.
But usually, never dress my abs neatly.

Additionally, if you half tuck, you get to look like you're trying desperately to be stylish and trendy, while failing miserably at both....

If you're having a pumpkin peach ale, the half tuck might look good with your dainty glass....
