Do you charge a new battery before installation?

I haven't, my typical procedure is limp to where I'm buying the battery and swapping it in the lot.

If I had a garage I'd consider occasional trickle charger use but that would be before the battery goes in.

Always, unless its an "emergency". But emergencies are almost always avoided by forethought....like charging batteries

I never have, neither a car nor a bike. I shouldn't have to charge a new battery.
