Do You Believe In...

I don't know if I believe in it entirely, but I know that there is something beyond life as we know it.

My grandmother, who was a hardcore catholic, was a also believer in spirtulism. If she could take this leap, against her religion, I figured it must be worth looking into.

I will stop there, in fear of this becoming a religious discussion.

That stuff is interesting. I often have conflicts between things I sort of believe in the possibility of and the things I hear about that stuff in church.
What I guess I really think is that it's what you believe at 3 am that counts.

Edison thought that the phonograph was recording voices from the other side.

There's "reverse speech", in which people are supposed to say backwards what they are thinking, in spite of waht they are saying (Clinton said SOME stuff backwards)...former Prime Minsiter of Australia is reported to have said "I only smoke the best marijuana"...sounded pretty close as well.

Could be coincidence, could be evidence of other dimensions/afterlife/whatever.

I'm not in the habit of messing with this sort of stuff.

Enough things go bump in the night without tempting them.

Art Bell has all the answers!

Need scientific proof.

I did hear some of it on the Art Bell last spring or so. Sent the pricklies down my back.

Remember, perception and truth are often divergent.

I'm a believer in some fairly weird stuff myself. Many years ago I experienced some strange happenings at a friends cousins home. After spending several long nights in this house, I have a new respect for those that claim to hear and see ghosts, spirits, or demons....whatever they are. I've always been a very skeptical person, and still am for the most part, but what I saw and felt at that home will forever make me a believer in the paranormal. I'm not sure if I would say that the "dead" can be recorded or heard, but some things just can't always be explained. And although I am a Christian person, I can't deny what I witnessed. My beliefs lend me to suppose it was a demonic or evil spirit, not a dead person. But who knows!!

It would be obvious that you can pick up voices in the air. With the amount of transmission we do on a daily basis in our world, of course you will find something. Whether it's cellular, walkie talkie, radio, top secret codes, cordless phones, etc. Frequencies even overlap sometimes so if you're listening at certain places, you will hear bits and pieces of two different transmissions. Im sure theres even a little bit of paranormal tied in somewhere;)
