I was in Germany last week and came across 6 liters of Racing 2T in a grocery store of all places. The date of manufacture was 2008 so it's pretty old stuff. I don't know when they stopped producing the product but the packaging was in the newer light grey bottles unlike the bottles that it was packaged in here in the U.S.

I'm going to be over there next month and I may go back and see what they'll sell me their lot for. I'll have to ship it home on a slow boat but it'd be worth it for me.

Wow, I had no idea it was still available in Europe. I wonder what it would cost to ship a crate of it here?

Maybe next time our company jet is in Europe, I'll get the pilot to purchase a case or two.

You can get it cheaper than having it shipped from overseas. I have 12 6-quart cases currently up for sale. I'm charging what I am because I can. The stuff is extremely rare anymore in the U.S., and it will sell period because there are enough people who know that there is nothing better available.

The only other auction there from the UK by someone who ships worldwide is asking US $31.01 +$4.50 for 1 quart.

That MX2t is certainly great oil, and probably one of the finest "all around" 2 stroke oils mankind has ever produced.

I've used Castrol TT-S with great results too. It's not cheap either. And, I'm not 100% sure it's as good as the Mobil product. However, it is a good "runner up" in my opinion.
