The Toyota-branded T-IV is only available at dealers.

Mobil 3309 is the same fluid if you can find it.

Castrol IMV makes an excellent replacement, and is generally easier to find.

some mom&pop auto parts stores in So Cal have various genuine OEM ATF, including Toyota ATF T-IV, Honda DW1 ... Bib box tores dont carry any OEM ATF.

Pep boys has penn plat.with the jws3309 approval.in addition to many others, using it in the Highlander awd with excellent results, Menards has the Quaker state version, same exact specs. And there is a pennzoil version as well at farm type of stores, again all full syn with identical specs.

Recently, I have not seen any stores selling Toyota T-IV

Mobil 3309 was available on the shelf for a few years. But why bother stocking single inferior spec low volume fluid?

Aisin aftermarket has an ATF-0T4, Ravenol has a T-IV, and Idemitsu has ATF-TLS. A version is also available from most dealers since GM, Ford, Volvo, Mazda, Hyundai, Mini, Nissan, VW.... have used AW's requiring 3309.

Some independent parts houses carry the Idemitsu or Mobil versions of of it, and I've seen the Aisin repackage. My independent one carries both Aisin T-IV and WS fluids as well as ATF3309.

Yes. Auto Value stores have Beck Arnley 252-2002 it's an OE equivalent of Toyota T-IV. Also Car Quest can get it, tell them to check the Wolrd Pac system.
