DIY 10w-30?

I have 2 cases of 5w-20 (SL) 1 motorcraft, 1 castrol. The vehicle
that that used this weight has been sold. Would a 50/50 mix with
10w-40 roughly equal a 10w30? I'd like to use it in a 100,000 mile plus 98 Ford Exploder that is fond of 10w30 weights. Thanks!

Or get some HD [diesel] 15-40, which would be even better.
