Please explain. Is it more warm fuzzy feel-good peace love harmony communism?

IMHO, no. I was kinda' expecting such a thing but the movie did not have a "harmony" feeling for me at all. There was a lot of conflict, both physical and cultural, and there wasn't really a resolution to it.

At one point they (the humans) speculated that the Aliens were like worker bees, and without guidance they were inept, the pilot was a different story he had brains, and even grew a child with his high intelligence I assume from his own DNA. Now he goes to get help, who knows what comes next? perhaps he brings back a squadron of destroyers, and a troop carrier well stocked with cat food.

Ship sitting 20 years is a plot hole, but all their technology was activated by alien DNA, so perhaps they just gave up on the ship, maybe the pilot turned on the alarm essentially locking everything down. There were lots of helicopters all over the ship they must be trying something, and they were experimenting on their bodies.

Funny how that was shocking to the pilot, we were doing to them what we always think aliens would do to us.

I think the so called holes, were left open intentionally to make you think, maybe they had budget restraints. District 10 coming soon.

The ending set that up, I'm sure it all rides on how much they make on this one.
