Having replacement clips on hand is one thing to consider.

Work for yourself or are you in a dealership?

I primarily work on Hondas and find these pliers to be of immense help in removing the plastic push-pin type clips used to fasten underhood and undercar trim panels.

In all seriousness, I don't have a set exactly like that, so I ordered.

I’ve never found those tools to work that great/easily/not create collateral scratching.

I’ve found the older type to work best. Thin, sharp-edged ones.

I would head to my vise with a torch and play blacksmith to bend up one of my amazon specials.
