It's not hard to beat that at all. Get your backside off the sofa, turn the idiot box off, and rather than sit around mindlessly watching TV, do something constructive.

Not only can I beat that by paying nothing for TV, but I can actually spend the time you sit in front of the TV to go out and make money. As an alternative, I can do volunteer work or spend some time exercising-either benefitting my community or benefitting my health.

Pretty simple to beat that.

Thanks Pop Rivit, thanks a bunch.

I'm a 71 year old crippled Vet, with congestive hearth failure, diabetes, COPD, need I say more.

Know a little about the folks you ridicule before you ridicule them.

BTW, I still serve, I'm part of the Honor Guard at parades and funeral details for Veterans that have passed.

Ever try standing at attention in below zero weather, or in the sun on a 90+ degree day, I do, but it takes 2 oxycodone to accomplish the act.

Now about the getting off the sofa and doing something constructive??????

Let me hear all about it. Heck, I can't even walk across the street to my mail box without stopping to get air because I'm gasping.

Like I told them, if their prices were cheaper, I would support their efforts, but they are not. I signed up with Direct @ Costco. Am saving money the first year, paying the same after that and getting $300 from Costco. Being rural, I have only satellite to choose from.

You're a pawn in every TV provider's game. Direct TV did it a while back, and before them I had Time Warner cable who did it a few times while I was their customer. I think I've had some channel go off the air at least once a year with every provider I've had. Now, it might not have affected me too much since I only watch a few channels, but it does happen pretty frequently

I agree wholeheartedly Pop. Much better to spend your leisure time sitting in front of a computer monitor handing out hard-nosed lifestyle advice to those poor slobs and slackers who are clearly in such desperate need

It's done!!
FOX is back!!
Comcast is here, locked in at $80 bucks a month less that I was paying!!

Life is good!!

Just got off the phone with Dish to cancel our acct. They offered me a discount of $45 bucks a month for 10 months to stay.

Sorry Charlie, to late.

Bet they could have offered that all along.
