Good Morning folks. Filter was off friend that is retired and he scraps a lot; off his 18’ HEMI RAM regular cab 2WD truck. Unknown oil also. Had according to lube shop sticker, 7k on it. Put a CHAMP PH 48 filter and some QSUD 5w30.

I think they are attached to glue. Already burned the filter and others up. Now, off to the scrap man with aluminum and shredder.
Looks attached to me. If those pleats were not attached, they would most likely be bent over and deformed from the oil flow.

, looks good.Looks good at 7k miles. Did a little background search on the brand, and seems they are used by Meineke and a few other shops in Pittsburgh area. Likely elsewhere too. Remind me of Prime Guard filters with the same coo, or at least used to be. For those that put an emphasis on straight pleating, this one fits the bill.

Yes-they are a private label filter distributed by the sellers of DuraMax motor oil, Reladyne here in Cincinnati (& elsewhere). Filters look to be private label Premium Guard/Prime Guard-look good in use, somewhat rock catcher efficiency. It has the metal spiral tube, big holes, & coil spring that other PG filters have.
Reladyne sells these as jobber filters, not sure how the general public could buy them-although RK sure has them. Their motor oil is in LOTS of c-stores here.
