Okay, this is going to seem dumb, but hear me out

Working on a motorcycle, I am desperately trying not to have to pull the rack of carbs again, And I need to change one of the Jets.

I've got an offset extension on the way, the kind that's like a tight reach, But I'm hoping for something slightly more low profile.

The way that all of them are set up, is that they have a 3/8 female receptacle on both sides with adapters that drop in to hold sockets.

I want something lower profile if possible. I was hoping for a nesting design that was 3/8 male, with a quarter inch bit driver in the center. Honestly, I'd buy a dedicated bit driver offset extension if I could but it doesn't seem like they make that.

Failing that, any idea on an ultra low profile quarter to bit adapter?

Any thoughts? I'm just going to try the stack of adapters if I have to.

Can you use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench with a bit in it? I've taken the basic, short bits that are meant to go in a screwdriver head and tacked a stop on them so they don't just push all the way through

So basically you want a small tool that is 3/8 male square on one side and 1/4 hex female on the other?

I’ve never seen such a tool.

Here’s what I use:

Astro Tool 78301 Stubby Ratcheting Flex Head Double Box End Wrench for Nano Sockets https://a.co/d/0gMwpkLF

The bit holder it comes with is super low profile and very compact. But not quite as compact as a bit ratchet in most cases.

1/4" drive, magnetic hex bit holder.
