I can't ponder the thought of being that parent. It is an unimaginable state for me. I don't know how I would cope. I don't like reading these events. I can't resist trying to empathize or identify with the parent or other loved one. I find that too much to handle in any real way. It causes me to cry.

Me three And they did not even stop the show
The monster trucks may not be required to use flywheel scattershields, transmission ballistic blankets, and driveshaft safety loops like their racing counterparts. Sounds like they need to apply NHRA and NASCAR safety regulations to their equipment.
With the horsepower level those trucks make, I would think the would be required to have a NHRA approved bell housing
