Did I foul it up?

My ex gf had one of these. It was a total blast to drive!!!!! It was her first standard and I taught her how to drive a manual tranny car with it :^) There was nooooooooooooo way I was going to let her learn on my car (had a 3000GT back then). I`d stick with the Mobil 1. Maybe go for the 0W40 or the 10W40 HM if these cars need a 40 wt. Toyotas seem to do really well on M1 oils via uoa`s.

I put synthetic in it. What a spectacularly bad idea. It runs MUCH better but uses a quart of oil every 100 miles. I went back to dino oil hoping for improvement. Woe is me.

"Butt dyno". I've never felt any difference in any cars when switching between synthetic and dino.

Come to think of it, I've never noticed a difference in MPG, startup noise, oil pressure or anything between the two oils.

I started using synthetics last year. On both my Toyotas the things you mentioned I noticed, maybe your butt is numb?
