Did a trans swap

Car and Driver just recently finished a long-term test of a CTS-V wagon, and not suprisingly, they loved it. The performance anbd daily utility of those cars is impressive....

Agree about the colour - love a nice blue!

YES, sick machine there!!

I've never seen one in that color, looks GREAT! (Especially with the dark anthracite wheels, which look at least 1000x better than chromie-homie, or polished would.

Pulley, headers, tune, Pedders suspension pieces, or are you leaving it pure stock as far as that stuff goes??

I have two neighbors with them. Both black w/ dark wheels and yellow calipers. One is a wagon, the other a 4 door. One guy is a real motorhead and traded his new 'vette for one, the other is a housewife who uses the wagon to tow her kids to school and back. The both love them. It cracks me up to see this tall blond lady start the thing up, with it sounding all [censored] off while she straps the kids into their car seats.

I don't know if they have done anything to them, they both sound like they have headers and decent exhaust. When they are idling stuff in my (CBS Block) house shakes.

I've done 160+ on a pass

160 is easy, it's at about 165 where I hit top gear and things take longer to develop!

I don't know about 'eating' New M5's, but that CTSV will easily embarrass very expensive cars. I just never got the styling, it's too radical for me. But I LOVE that engine and trans combo!

De-badge that sucker, then a pulley and a tune is the ticket!

Very nice. That takes "vanity" plates to a whole new level..a little too "caulky", and I'd be worried to ever park it in a public parking lot.
